Henry Suzzallo Society

The Henry Suzzallo Society honors individuals who have provided for a future gift to the University under their will, living trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan, or similar commitment. These commitments are often referred to as revocable deferred gifts.

The Henry Suzzallo Society is a way for the University to thank and recognize donors during their lifetime for providing a future gift. Over the years, we at the University often have learned of a person's generosity only when a gift was received from their estate. While recognition and thanks are the most important benefits of memberships, we know that many people prefer to keep their future gifts confidential. We will respect the wishes of donors who desire to be anonymous. Other benefits include:

  • You will be invited to one or more events at the University of Washington each year, including events specifically for members of the Henry Suzzallo Society.
  • Your name will be listed in the University's annual Report to Contributors as a member of the Henry Suzzallo Society (unless you prefer to be anonymous).
  • You can receive information about University programs that interest you, and have the opportunity to meet faculty, students or administrators.
  • You or your advisor can consult with gift planning staff in order to ensure the best match between your charitable intentions and the University's needs.
