Corporation and Foundation Support

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations can facilitate partnerships between UW schools and colleges and corporations and foundations.

We'll work to facilitate and advance mutually beneficial partnerships between the University of Washington and corporations and foundations with multi-school/college interests by:

• Identifying and catalyzing potential matches between UW projects and funding organizations
• Serving as a key source of information and analysis of corporate and foundation business and philanthropic activities
• Providing strategic counsel and action plans for approaching and working with corporate and foundation donors
• Providing strategic counsel and action plans for approaching and working with corporate and foundation donors
• Helping faculty develop and refine proposals that not only meet submittal requirements, but also correspond to funding organizations' larger intent and goals
• Managing complex partnerships between large corporate and foundation donors and the University

Mission

The mission of Corporate and Foundation Relations is to facilitate the creation and maintenance of mutually beneficial partnerships between the UW and corporations/foundations with multi-school/college interests by:

• Proactively identifying and catalyzing potential matches between UW projects and funding organizations
• Providing consultation on strategy development, corporate and foundation donor relationships, and proposal writing and review
• Managing large partnerships
• Developing and maintaining a key source of corporate and foundation information to support relationship building.
