But a report by Kenneth Walters, professor of business at UW Bothell, finds that throughout the last four years, the formation of start-up companies based on UW innovations continues to thrive. On average, slightly more than one company with UW ideas at its core launches each month. Your support of university-based research and education fuels these ideas, jumpstarts these companies, and strengthens our economy.
