Friends of Comparative History of Ideas Discretionary Fund Discretionary and General Support for the Comparative History
of Ideas Program.
Polish Studies Distinguished Speakers Fund The fund supports bringing distinguished lecturers to the UW campus, to increase community awareness of Polish language, history, science, and culture. The lectures will serve as a springboard for fundraising for an Endowed Chair of Polish Studies at the University of Washington.
Middle East Discretionary Fund General support for the Middle East Studies Program at the Jackson School of International Studies.
Philosophy Fellowship Fund Gifts to the Philosophy Fellowship Fund provide much-needed support for graduate fellowships, graduate recruitment, travel, and colloquia. If enough contributions are made to this fund, it will also be used to support graduate students attending conferences for job interviews.
Friends of French Studies To provide general program support for the French Studies program. For travel, research, publications, and communication expenses, as well as to serve as a general fund for restricted gifts too small to justify their own budget number.
