In our office we have 30 calling stations, each equipped with a Windows-based, automated calling system called CampusCall.
CampusCall replaced our previous automated system five years ago. This system utilizes a progressive dialing system that eliminates any pauses at the beginning of the call and helps distinguish us from other telemarketers. CampusCall sounds just like a regular phone.
With CampusCall, the student callers can preview a prospect's recent gift history, degree, and mailing information while the system dials the prospect's number. This allows the callers time to get to know the prospect before actually speaking to him or her. Callers thus have a more engaging conversation and build a stronger relationship with the prospect.
