Building Campus Facilities for a World-Class Education

Your support touches nearly every corner of our three campuses, providing exceptional environments for learning and teaching, research and discovery, culture and the arts, athletics, and other activities that define a well rounded university experience. Gifts made during Campaign UW have created and are supporting a number of new and newly renovated spaces.

William H. Foege Building
With the opening of the 265,000-square-foot William H. Foege Building, researchers in the Departments of Genome Sciences and Bioengineering will have more room to make scientific discoveries that will improve lives. Both departments are leaders in their respective disciplines - three of the eight architects of the Human Genome Project call the UW's Department of Genome Sciences home and Bioengineering's researchers hold more than 170 patents and are considered leaders in applying technology in ways that benefit people. The new space helps these departments continue their tradition of excellence. Support Bioengineering

Paul G. Allen Center
Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is a wonderful home for the CSE program, providing an immense amount of laboratory space and meeting areas to foster discovery and innovation among the researchers, undergraduates and graduate students. More than 250 friends and alumni donated $42 million to create the 85,000-square-foot center, ensuring that CSE has the tools to remain competitive. CSE now has 2.5 times more total space and three times more lab space than it previously did. Support Computer Science
