Faculty-Staff-Retiree Giving 2008

No one knows better than UW faculty, staff and retirees what a difference private support makes. You see the impact every day on campus in Seattle, Tacoma, and Bothell--opportunities for students, resources for research and teaching, and improved facilities. All of these are enhanced through donations to the university.

The fact that so many of our faculty and staff make gifts to the University, on top of their day-to-day efforts, makes the UW a special place. For this, we are deeply grateful. Support from current and former faculty and staff is particularly meaningful because it sends a resounding message from those who know the University best.

Annual Gifts

Many of our current and former faculty and staff choose to support their favorite department, school, college, or program on one of the three UW campuses. There are more than 1,900 funds listed on this website that support students, faculty and programs in nearly every corner of the Univeristy. Exceptional matching opportunity ~ Campaign for Students

Imagine making a gift that continues to support students for generations to come. With a minimum contribution of $5,000, which can be paid out over five years (less than $85 a month), you can create a named, permanent endowment and the University will match your gift 1:1 up to $10,000. UW faculty, staff, and retirees are invited to take part in this extraordinary opportunity by initiating a gift or pledge any time through December 31, 2008. Click here to learn more.
