UW Tacoma Chancellor's Club

Recognizing Generous Annual Donors to UW Tacoma

Private contributions play a special role in UW Tacoma's continuing development. Whether giving financial assistance to deserving students, enhancing facilities and equipment, or encouraging faculty scholarship, private contributions create a margin of excellence that state support alone cannot provide.

The UW Tacoma Chancellor's Club provides an important vehicle for donors to expand educational opportunity at UW Tacoma. An annual gift of $1,000 or more qualifies donors for a one-year membership in the Chancellor's Club. Lifetime members of the Chancellor's Club have either made a one-time gift of $25,000 or more — or they have included UW Tacoma in their estate plans.

Begun in 2003 as a small group of dedicated supporters, the UW Tacoma Chancellor's Club is rapidly becoming a major force in the life of the campus and the community. Members of the Chancellor's club receive:

  • Annual recognition in print in UWT's donor honor roll
  • Invitations to campus events and lectures
  • An opportunity to be honored at the annual Chancellor's Club dinner
  • The satisfaction of helping UWT students achieve their dreams
