The Women’s Center is a vital part of the University of Washington’s dedication to equity and diversity. The UW Women’s Center provides a safe and supportive space and services which allow women students, faculty, staff, and community members to participate actively and fully in the university system and succeed in their educational, career, and life goals.
The Women’s Center’s innovative programs provide individuals with the support and resources they need to better their lives and meet their goals. We achieve this through educational programs, advising, peer counseling, life skills training, referral services, and advocating for positive change in public policy. By supporting the work of the Women's Center, you make it possible for us to build a culture of gender equity and social justice on the University of Washington’s campus and in the larger community.

Lifelong Learning
The UW Women’s Center offers an array of low-cost, non-credit courses and seminars designed to meet the special concerns facing young women, returning women, older women, and men on campus and in the community. An average of 250 classes are offered each year, with an average enrollment of 2,177 people.
