Special Opportunity

Make a special gift online to The FIUTS Earthquake Relief Fund.
Donations for relief efforts in Chengdu, China, following the catastrophic earthquake on May 12, 2008. Funds will be distributed through China Earthquake Aid to several local NGOs doing work in disaster relief, water conservation, and rebuilding efforts. About FIUTS

Support for FIUTS creates a community of individuals dedicated to international friendship and exchange. Founded on the University of Washington campus in 1948, FIUTS programs increase opportunities for cross-cultural understanding among University of Washington students and throughout the Pacific Northwest. At the intersection of the University of Washington and our community, FIUTS mission is to inspire lifelong engagement in experiences that build global understanding.

FIUTS programs include International Student and Study-Abroad Orientation programming, Wednesday Lunch, volunteer homestay and friendship programs, weekly events and activities geared towards integrating international students into the local community, K-12 education outreach, and ongoing special events encouraging cultural curiosity and sharing.
