The University of Washington is excited to have embarked upon a comprehensive fundraising effort to maintain the rich Husky Athletic tradition.

The Campaign for the Student Athlete is part of a long-range plan to ensure the national competitiveness for each of the program’s 23 sports. The University is committed to ensuring that the nearly 700 student-athletes who participate receive the highest quality educational and athletic experience possible. UW supporters expect the huskies to strive to be the best intercollegiate athletic department in the country. The Campaign is essential in making that goal a reality.

The Campaign for the Student Athlete was created following months of interviews with student-athletes, coaches, University officials, and community leaders. For more information on the Campaign for the Student Athlete, please contact Gary Barta at (206) 616-9280.
