Giving Opportunities

Gifts to the Friends of Access help improve the education and services offered students here at the UW by funding projects throughout the University that cannot be supported by limited departmental budgets. Last year, grants were made to provide resources and teaching tools, such as a life-sized skeleton model for the Health Sciences Library, the laser disc series History of Film for the Comparative Literature Program, and an interactive learning tool for the School of Nursing that teaches physical assessment techniques for heart and lung disorders.
