What are the tax benefits of making a gift to the UW?

Your gift is tax-deductible as specified in IRS regulations. What calendar does the University of Washington use to recognize gifts?

The University of Washington recognizes gifts according to the University's fiscal year, which runs from July 1 to June 30. Gifts received between July 1, 2007, and June 30, 2008, will be counted as fiscal year 2008 gifts.
